Coin Input Fail on Fire Drift Machine

My fire drift machine won't accept any coins they just go straight down into the bottom tray instead of into the hopper. Is there an easy way to fix/tinker with the coin input module to fix this? Quite amateur when it comes to fix these things so would appreciate some assistance.

Any errors shown? or reset needed?

There is an electro magnet on the coin mech that pulls a plate inwards when the machine is ready to take tokens. you could try findin another way to hold the plate in place. (for testing purposes)
