Default “Very Nice” model, no power to reels or coin Counter

    Hello,

I bought a “very nice” model yesterday. Maker name
    has been scratched out.

the lower lights work, and the speakers have power, but nothing else works on this machine.

If I move the power ribbon to the main board, the reel lights briefly flash.

is this probably a main board issue? I don’t think it’s that ribbon.

    thanks

My guess would be it is in a connection. Resetting all the connections,(unplug them and plug back in), several times may solve your problem. Machines that have set around for awhile tend to get corrosion at the connections and resetting them cleans them off.
What if...the HOKEY POKEY, is what it's all about?

The fact that you're getting it to flicker suggests its a connection. Check your ground cables/straps. You might also try some deoxit or contact cleaner on the contacts. Also check/clean reset button/switch.
