Default Middle button reads 15 Monarch. What is it

I have never seen a machine like this. Might it be a Monarch penny arcade by Rosenfeld? I will be picking it up this week. Trying to research in the meantime.

At a wild guess. I'd say 15 is the payout amount. 14 from the jackpot tray and the prize ball returned

    Monarch is probably the maker.

I agree with Drunkenclam. A mid-1950's Monarch All 15 single shot machine. It looks a little dry and dusty, but the front seems to be in good shape and it should clean up really nice. As long as it isn't missing any parts in the back you should be able to get it working pretty easily. If you don't have any, you should order 500 pachinko balls.

Now that I bought it for $20, its a Monako. Not sure what year looks early due to not a lot of glitz. See added pics.

The hook between the reward hopper and the "U turn" is upside down. It should dangle down like a pendulum. It should also have a pachinko ball in it for weight. It is to knock down stacked balls into a single layer. Also, the stiff wire to the left of the jackpot should be straight. and goes through a guide above the seesaw. This wire resets the seesaw during a jackpot sequence. The mechanism is half way through a jackpot cycle in the above rear pic...but other than that looks complete without any broken plastic or bent up metal...besides the slightly crooked bells. be careful cleaning the plastic on the back, they are always brittle and break easily!
Very nice machine! Exactly the type I keep an eye out for...and at a great price! I don't see any reason that it will not work properly once those issues are addressed!

There is usually a spring loaded tab above the hook that needs a pachinko ball. This locks the glass in place so it can't be lifted from the front. I don't know if it is missing, or just can't be seen in the pic. The glass slides into a slot in the top.
These '50s single shots are one of my favorite styles of machines. Nice find!
Not sure what the box to the right of the jackpot is. Post some pics of that area when you start cleaning it up.

Just got another exact model. on ebay too. Had a chance to buy it at same time as first one; had to track down the guy that bought it and retrieved it.

I was ready to PM you to see what you wanted for the 1st one back when you stated that you were selling...but I seen it on eBay and it was already over $200! I am surprised that it climbed so high, so fast! I am happy for you...but too high for me.
I once paid $200 for a '50s machine, but it had a ball lifter.
