If it's a new card reader emulator, then check the label on it for it's hardware version number. If it is 'Rev 3.0' then there's a known problem with Rev3 card reader emulators and some Daiichi machines. which causes the shooter handle to work intermittently or not at all. You might be able to get it working by setting the display brightness setting to maximum. But a proper fix will need a firmware update.

To change the display brightness. Enter setup mode by pressing both 'ball loan' and 'return' buttons while powering up the machine, press the 'ball loan' button until you get to the 'b-6 setting (where the 6 is the current brightness setting'), press the return button until the maximum brightness is shown (should be 'b-9'), then power the machine off and back on again.

I can send you an 'update key' with a firmware patch for this issue. You can plug this into the expansion connector of the emulator dongle and update the firmware, and it should fix the shooter handle problem. Send me a private message with your mailing address and the serial number of the emulator dongle and I'll get one sent out to you.

If the problem is not a non working shooter handle, or the emulator is a different hardware revision, then post here with more details of the problem, and I'll see what I can do.

ok i ran into another problem. i noticed my machine was winning way too often so i looked and there are a couple of pins that have been bent so the balls fall into the pocket easier.

i bent some of the pins back straight that looked bent. there are others that look bent also but i would never know if they are suppose to be that way or not originally. but now im having an issue with the pockets. it says the payouts for the pockets are 3,10 and 14. the center pocket pays 3. but the other two pockets both pay 10. what is the 14 payout?

    .

    Sub Roulette

Each time a ball goes through a pass through pocket (usually on the left and sometimes right side of the playfield), then one of the 4 leds will light (or a symbol on the screen will show)..those are stocked chances of getting the flippers around the main start pocket to open for less than a second, theoretically giving you a better chance to get a ball in the start pocket for a spin..there are usually also 2 symbols somewhere on the play field or on the screen that are usually an X and an O that will flash back and forth and then stop on one of them..if it stops on the right symbol then the flippers will open..if it stops on the other symbol then they won't open..Then if you have anymore stocked it will start again!!

On some pachinkos it will always stop on the winning symbol and on others it rarely does..like on Star Wars!!

It is often referred to as the 'sub roulette' on these forums!!

I hope I explained that ok...Its a feature on most modern pachinkos!!
