Yeah, I don’t recommend choosing Japan post to ship to the US; I made the mistake over a month ago for a small box of flags, seat covers, ect. It’s been stuck in Kanagawa since 5/12. FromJapan site says up to 4 month delay in delivery. I should have paid the extra $40 or so to just have it sent FedEx priority...

Now I have to go months with no life size Rio flag to match my Rio2... what a world we live in.

Yet mine to UK was despatched without a hitch.
As I was over $1000 down on my pay packet last month. I had to take the cheapest option. But in 10 years I've only seen 5 of those type lifters listed on YJA and I brought 4 of them

I'll be lucky to see it in August. September probably. If I had the cash. It would have been here by now

    Was it a Daito lifter?

Ugh; dreadful news I think I know why my order has been stuck “packing” for 9 days now; as of 6/18 no more FedEx, DHL, nothing but surface shipments to the US. I think my cells are oversized for surface so they may be stuck in “limbo” storage at the warehouse.

So no telling how long it will take to get Symphogear and Golgo drum.

Cels you might be ok with. i've had whole machines sent surface in the past. The problem is the weight limit. The post office will not touch anyting over 30KG

Yeah, two cells are under 30kg for sure; I’ll sit back patiently and wait for FromJapan staff to get things sorted. It’s definitely not the optimal time to be importing pachinkos in the US that’s for sure though!

Are you sure no FedEx or DHL shipments? I still have DHL and FedEx Priority listed as shipping options for the two machines I have sitting in the From Japan warehouse. If I am reading what you posted correctly, only Japan Post has suspended air shipments to the US.

Yeah, you’re right; I’m trippin’, disregard my previous comments, finally got my charge 2 for the cells I bought (11 days after giving instruction) FedEx priority was about $75-100 more expensive than the normal average price I’ve paid in the past for 2 cells shipped at once. (Normally around $140-150ish per cell)

DHL was even more expensive; I think they only make financial sense for very bulky and heavy items.

    Default From Japan shipping update

My new toys arrived less than 48hrs after paying charge 2.

Still waiting on Japan Post to mail my other small shipment, so my recommendation is to avoid them in these trying times till things simmer down.

Same here this time around. No photos yet, but hopefully this weekend I can get a few photos to share. One more machine still sitting in Japan. I have about 2 weeks before I have to pony up the money for priority shipping.

It's new technology so we can afford the shipping costs. Just add water, and it'll turn into a full size one.

I guess you would need to add water to a sea story machine.

I reckon so; first tested it out soaking my “worlds smallest” Epoch pachinko; before and after pics:

Is that the card from the original 南国育ち? I've seen them a few times for sale, but never understood what they are.

What is it with cats and boxes?
