Default Model B Seesaw stuck no jackpot payouts

    Hi All,
I found a pachinko on the curb a couple weeks ago and have spent all hours figuring this thing out. I guess no better time then quarantine time. Anyways, my machine does not pay out jackpots. The balls get stuck in the back and pile up, eventually being able to see them through the holes in the front. I believe it has to do with the seesaw not moving properly? When positioned up, I'm able to push the front ball back and move it up and down. It just doesn't move on it's own. At closer look the white piece appears broken? Any ideas?

Pictures of the front and back are attached.

Your seesaw metal rod is bent and maybe you need to carefully remove the seesaw (that tiny C-Clip is a bear to find if you drop it) and use a microfiber cloth to polish the metal pivot pin and use a Q Tip with some Windex on it and clean the seesaw hole . Then just reassemble the seesaw mechanism.

This is what it was for me, but I also sanded down the pivot pin as it had years of gunk or something on it that made it not loose. After that it moved easily.

Did you straighten the rod? The plastic may be binding on it because the rod is angled through the hole. Theoretically it doesn't touch the plastic...

    Nice curb find!

Where is the see saw supposed to rest? Up or down? It's only stuck up because of the ball sitting at the tip of see saw.

The seesaw should reset to the up position--the ready position. After a ball forces the seesaw down, it offloads the ball to the next path in the mechanism. The seesaw then rocks back up to receive the next winning ball. Presumably that is the ball seen in your second picture. It should not be restricting the seesaw though. If it is, that is the problem. I would still straighten the rod as suggested above, but the more I think about it, the more I doubt it is the issue.

The seesaw has a ball captured inside it that rolls back and forth which makes it reset, if I understand the action correctly.

Ok this is making sense. From what I can tell, the winning ball is getting stuck half way in the mouth of the see saw and not allowing it to drop. My next problem is trying to get the see saw off to look inside it. The small screen is stripped.

    Thanks for the help!

Seesaw is being restricted somehow. You can try side cutters to remove a stripped screw. CAREFULLY bite into the screw head enough that the cutters grab a little, then slowly turn the cutters to remove the screw. Cutters should be parallel with the screw. Hope that helps.

It works! What a treat to hear the bell ring and the pot pay out! I happen to drive bye and a lady was putting it to the curb, perfect timing.

The see saw was bent and wasn't allowing the winning ball to drop down to the next chute. Thanks for all the help.
