    Default Popeye Pachinko prices...

How much should these Popeye Pachinko Machines be going for? I've passed on some for $260, and now I see them selling for $350+. Just wanted some info before I try to buy. I seem to notice alot of these Fleamarket people buying everything they can get their grubby little mits on. I hope they slow down a little. Any help is appreciated. Thanks,

    -Jeremy

I know to me this machine is not worth 360, but if they keep going this high you might not see them come down in price until after the christmas buying season

Yeah for real. I think the hype may die down once Star Wars hits ebay. But, who knows. I'll just try to be patient.

TA plans on release Star Wars for $1000. You can get them from Japan direct cheaper than that.

I've checked yahoo auctions Japan. It seems they are selling for around $600+ and then $300+ shipping, and there are still the voltage mods that need to be done. So, I'm guessing not much cheaper.. but if you can find me one cheaper, I'll buy it.

the prices on Star Wars is doing the oppasent it is going up on yahoo japan as normally going down. I think it is both the movie and the play.
Mine is kicking play, it just grabs you by the short hairs and you are stuck there in the game.
The lights are every color there is and the sound chip, it's like ear candy.

funny, but it worth the high price

this started as a popeye thread and is turning into a Star Wars thread. Which is ok, because I love both machines and would like to own either or both of them. If anyone can help me find a deal on either of them, please let me know. Other than that, I will keep watching Ebay.

I sniped my Popeye for $242.00 on a holiday weekend. (I think?)
As I wrote in another thread, It dosent look to me ( like, what do I know!? ) that Pachinko prices are coming down on the newer stuff. I just saw that a Safari went for $127.00 on TA's auction. I thought that was a good price & if Id have awakened 15 minutes ealier I would have sniped it at around $140 myself.

It just seems there are too many ebay novices that are jacking the prices up.. I mean, putting in these huge bids with 1 or 2 DAYS left on the auction. Well, I guess we'll see what happens.

Thats due to the growing popularity of Pachinkos & the small # of decent Pachinko suppliers. These aint your fathers Pachinkos & the folks are noticing these new machines. Just compare from 5 years ago & youll see a vast improvement.

The fact is ( it seems to me ) TA is the biggest supplier of the best selection of Pachinkos out there. He does a great job of advertising, they are clean, gots feet & he stands behind them. Even if you dont like the people, you cant get past that they are the #1 pachinko dealer. And when theres only one supplier the price is higher.

Everyone else, I include Milt in this, could/would be just as good in the Pachinko biz but they are all about Pachislo's.

If I had the brains & connections Id invest a large chunk of cash into Pachinko resale. I see a market thats largely going unfilled.

As far as the prices fluctuating, I, the grrrrreat doooduuude, predict that newbies are gonna be with us throughout the summer just biddin' & biddin' & biddin. And thats gonna cause the prices to stay pretty much where they are. At least where the newer machines are concerned.

Id like to know what the old timers think about this since Im a newbie my own self & my opinion is just like, well you know...

I understand the Christmas ( thats right, I SAID CHRISTMAS! not the holiday season or winter solstice, I SAID CHRISTMAS! :aetsch: ) season will bring them out.

But what do you think about the summer ( thats right, I SAID SUMMER... ) drop in prices? Think thats gonna happen to any degree to make it a buyers market on Pachinkos?

last summer i won my fever 7 pachinko from Slotusa for 86.50 plus shipping,

it didn't work right and they put a call tag on it and replaced it with a Fever King pachinko.

there were pachinkos going for under 100.00 last summer.

    Question Re: Popeye Pachinko prices...

Im sure there are going to be lots of pachinkos on the cheap but will they be the newer ones?
Im hoping to catch a few my own self but I wouldnt think the Pink Panthers, Popeyes, Juarrasic Parks etc would get too cheap would they?
This is my 1st summer of Pachinkos & eBay, so I dont know. But I go back to the idea that Pachinkos seem to be gaining in popularity lately & with only 1 real supplier of the most popular games wouldnt you think the prices, on those machines, would stay high?
