Adding volume knob and what this light

So I’m new to Pachinko and this is the 1st one I picked up, paid 100.00 for it and so far, I’m really enjoying it... I have two questions.....

1) can I add a volume knob, where and how??

2) why is it that this light stays on ?

Also, many machines have a small slide switch on the PCBs somewhere that typically have 2 or 3 volume settings. You might check on the back to see if you can spot anything that looks promising.

As for the light, I have no Maruhon machines so this is a guess but all of my other machines have various small LEDs on the playboard that seem to provide diagnostic or activity indications. Maybe it's something like that...

Yes... but that’s the only light that stays on all the time..

I have the Woody Woodpecker pachinko in the same frame very enjoyable ! I was wanting to get the Dragon cell but at the time it just didn't happen ( Cost of shipping cost or just the condition of the machine being offered)
