    Default Pachislo repair

Just want put it out here if this is not allowed please feel free to delete it.

If you have issues with your stop board blowing fuse. I can repair it for you I don’t charge anything at this time you only pay for shipping and parts.

Recently I bought 4 old pachislo machines which are in bad condition and have to build new cabinets for them. But on one of them stop buttons were not working but not blowing fuse and it ended up being burn out trace under connector on the main board.

Another one just needed some caps replaced and some other chips.

So if you have issues like this let me know and I will try to help you out.

I have recently purchased a Pachi-slo Double Diamond Type A and am having an issue with the lights dimming everytime I push any of the buttons and then when I get into a bonus stage it loses enough power that it actually shuts down but then comes back on, the guy I purchased it from has changed the transformer out and it gets extremely hot while playing...I was wondering if you can give me any advice on where to get the correct transformer? Thanks for your time!

Hi Sirrahekaj and welcome to Pachitalk,

Previous owner possibly used wrong transformer, it should be 24V rated at 5A. you can find them on Amazon or ebay. I would check the one you have if there are any markings on it.

So I hate to sound completely ignorant but I can't seem to find any with a 5VA rating, the one they put in it is a "TA599" says Primary Voltage is 120VAC 60HZ/ Secondary Voltage 24V 40VA...if anyone has a direct link to what I'm needing please let me know. Like I said, I'm sorry to be so clueless but I'm not familiar with 24v systems...

You would need something like 120 VA not 5 VA

I wasn't trying to come off as rude with the last post I made, I'm just having a hard time understanding exactly what everyone is telling me, I keep getting mixed answers from a few different threads. If anyone can find what they are talking about and post a direct link I would greatly appreciate it! 😁

You need 120v input but 24vac 5amps out (not 5va) , I would search eBay for pachislo transformer as I have see couple of them on there.

Some sellers list their transformers in Amps (A) Some list them in volt amps (va) But all will have the input and output voltage.

As said above you will need a 110-24 VAC transformer. The VA rating or Amp rating I would probably go for a 5A tranformer. so that is 120VA (5x24) Newer machines require transformers twice as powerful.

As in the UK I can't recommend a specific seller or shop. But I use RS

    They do this one.
    https://americas.rsdelivers.com/prod...roidal/6719132

but its not the easist to wire as you need both cores. Wired in correct phase.

Others might be able to advise better. Or speak to one of the importers.

It is the complete power supply with the transformer in the case . You plug in the power cord (goes to the wall socket) in the three socket Molex plug .

How do you know that's a 100v unit. There is no labels on it. Both 24v and 100v have the same style casings and input plugs.

Hey FastPC, could you give me some direction on a Electrocoin from 1998.5? I can't get the stop buttons to stop the reels when they are spinning. the reels will spin after i put a coin in it but the stop buttons have zero effect to stop the reels. the reels will stop on their own after about 35 seconds of spinning. I bought a replacement reel stop board and it did not change anything. I used a meter and seems like i could detect a signal from each stop button when they are pushed and the reels are spinning. However, i don't see any LEDs lighting up on the main pc board from the stop buttons. lots of other items will illuminate their own led on the board when i activate that certain button or door lock etc... any advise?

If you are sure the stop board is working 100% and you tested wires from button and you they make contact when pressed (they could be dirty and not make 100% contact) then only option is check the connector from stop board to the main logic board make sure it’s connected properly and if it you would have to trace all wires making sure there is no burnt trace like it was on one of mine.

Also when you bought replacement was it working ? Could be some bad capacitors if they are original and not working correctly.

Post some pics of the board etc..
