IMG_1183.jpgIMG_1216.jpgIMG_1214.jpgthanks for the help. the board was guaranteed to be in working condition from a popular ebay seller. i have found a few wires that were deliberately cut on the wire loom that connects to the top of my reels and then plugs into the main pc board running across the back of the machine. i also found 2 more wires that were cut in a loom that connects at the bottom of the reels and then connects to the reel stop board. i reconnected since they were easily identifiable based on their color markings. but this did not change anything. i did not try reattaching the cut wires in the bigger loom. of the 6 or 7 cut wires there are 3 of them that are black and i'm not sure how to identify which black one goes to which.

Can you see if any of them match the cutting pattern ? Ex: cut on a angle etc..? If you follow the wires to they go to the same connector ?

sorry for the bad pics. Uploading them on this site if very difficult and it rotated them. the first pic is a loom of wires from the bottom of the far right reel and connects to the stop board. those wires are color coded and i connected them to their corresponding color and nothing changed. the last 2 pics are much more difficult since 3 of the black wires that are cut i can't get a good read on how or which wires i should connect them back to. does anyone sell this particular loom of wires that connects from the top of the reel to the top of the long pc board that runs across the back of the machine?

If you wish you can send it to me and I can try and put it together for you or send me picture of the front of the machine and I will try to match to mine and see if I can trace them to its correct locations.

Just by looking at the connector it appears they are just connected straight through meaning the wire goes from same spot in one connector to same spot on opposite end ?

I would try that and go from there.

Color coded should be easy to connect together.

i meant to say what about the black wires? the color coded ones are simple to decipher. do these cut wires have anything to so with my reels not stopping when i push the stop buttons? i'm new to these machines so im confused why anyone would be inside these machines cutting wires for no reason.

Recommendation:

Disconnect both ends of the wire harness from the machine and remove the cable tie. Lay the wires flat so you can count out from either end of the connectors the wire positions to pair up the cut wires for reconnecting them.

This will fix your wire harness but I think your stop button issue relates back to your stop board having a faulty part. If I recall there is the "C10" component that fails.

Thanks for your help. I read the post you included about c10. Very informative. My fuse does not blow on either board. Ill follow the questions and check out those other issues. i did verify the machine has the same issues with or with out the reel stop board connected.

I would try to reconnect the cut wires like Peteybob suggested

Thanks Fastp. i'm going to do that. i was wondering if i measured across the fuse on the reel stop board how many volts should i see? I measured it and got 29 volts DC. is that about right? I was reading on another post they were getting 24 volts ac.

That’s little high but should be about right. Let me know if anything changes after you reconnect those wires

Good morning Fastpcuser, I have some major issues with my reel board and wanted to know if you could help. It has a number AC1293ap3 on it. So the stop buttons stopped working. Board was taken out, looked at and put back in ( INCORRECTLY ) and a chip fried. That’s where it ended months ago.
