    Default WTB: King Gorira pachinko

My friend has one and I’m smitten; can’t get him to sell it and I want one for myself. I understand that it may be the earliest movie themed pachinko. If anyone has one that is not missing parts, then let me know.

    Here’s an overpriced one:

I don’t think this it’s the oldest movie themed pachinko though. I’m pretty sure Ibirah horror from the deep (1966) lobster monster center feature machines pre-date that. (1975 or maybe older models too??)

Saw that as well. I agree that it’s overpriced. I might as well contact the seller and offer a lower price. I’m not too up on prices for unrestored and untested machines.

It may be wise to wait for a less expensive one or one in better shape; that one has some bad water stains which can’t be fixed without a full playfield replacement. Just depends how bad you want one or are willing to wait. Also, pretty much every eBay pachinko is overpriced by a large margin! To me that’s a $50 pachinko tops. Theme doesn’t really affect value on these as much as condition.

You could always one up your friend and get a “Special electric” model or a Powerflash if you want something a little more special than a “regular” pachinko. Those do pop up time to time but you have to be ready to act quickly before somebody scoops them up.

Agreed. I saw the condition as well and thought that it was very overpriced. I was thinking of $75-100 to your $50 estimate, but I’m also kinda motivated by the theme. If I’m to pay their $225 price, it must be in great playable condition.
