I believe it was around $150 back then for the 5000 balls plus some shipping cost within Japan. I recently (two months ago) ordered two cases of 4000 from another seller with free shipping inside Japan. His price was 4000 yen per carton then and is 4300 yen now.

My reselling comes out to <1cent per ball profit after handling, polishing and free shipping in case anyone was curious. It's a convenience thing for someone looking to buy in bulk stateside.
