First post! Just picked up a Rockman Pachislo. Very cool! Although we are having sound problems already. As in no sound at all lol.

Talking Re: post your new acquisitions here

My newest acquisition!! Yes another toy!!

I have seen the Bandai Star Wing handheld toys and Casio pachinko calculators on ebay for years and have always wanted to try one, but they are often over $100 for some reason, so when I saw a Star Wing II with a $20 BIN I just had to get it..I had no choice!!

It is pretty simple, but I do wish I had the instructions just in case I'm missing anything!! And while it's not really the funnest game ever (kinda boring after a while, shooter knob not the most comfy) if you are a pachi fan and can find one around this price, I'd still definitely recommend getting one!! It has a real variable shooter knob, sounds and 2 game modes.. a deji pachi mode and a hanemono mode, each start with 50 balls!!

My newest additions to my Pachislo collection are the first I've ever owned. Came in a lot of 4 from same owner. Aruze Gamble Combo, Aruze Surf Trip, Eleco Taco Slot 2, and Aristocrat King Of Fire.

Just picked up my first machine today. Sammy SOS Rescue Dog. Hell of a drive to go pick it up but worth it. My next step is to get some more balls I guess, it came with about 200 and the hopper empties out pretty fast that way, especially when the previous owner appears to have bent some of the nails around to make the odds more favorable.

Hello and welcome to the group SkunkyBunko

Nice find! Rescue dog is one I'd like to get someday. That Sammy machine is also pretty simple to work on if needed.

Thanks! Glad to be here in the magical world of Japanese plinky ball machines.

I think I lucked out with this thing, honestly. Glad they're easy to work on because I'm gonna need to add a volume control ASAP. Are they all this earsplitting? Do they really just have like dozens of these going off at once in Japanese parlors?

Yep they can get very loud if you have a group of them all jackpotting at the same time. I've never been to a parlor in Japan but I imagine they are louder than casinos in the states.

Here's a couple easy volume controls.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/13057738009...oAAMXQPd1RHZ3H
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/13057476609...gAAOSwEW5ZejfO

This is what the first one might look like on the inside of your front door. These were installed by a prior owner of my machine. You only need to cut one speaker wire giving yourself enough wire to work with on each end. Some simple soldering for the first one or you can use the second option with a couple wire nuts.

Apart from the serial number, that's exactly what the inside of my front door looks like. Just leaves the question of that third speaker. Would you happen to know where that's located?

The third speaker is behind the lower door. Open the door with the glass exposing the playfield and press down the brass looking latch at the lower right corner. This should open the lower door and the speaker is in the center.

    20210929_041718.jpg

The speaker wires are long and are plugged in at the connector by the yellow arrow on the left.

    20210929_041907.jpg

A tad dusty in there! I haven't opened this part in years.
After you close the lower door press the white latch next to the brass one which will allow balls to flow out of the machine.

I have had machines with Four speakers and a Subwoofer that was fun getting all the potentiometers hook up.

I got the last spot on the JT group shipment, and while I don't technically have it yet I purchased a Queens Blade 3 machine.

What I didn't realize was that it has animatronic spreading anime thighs https://youtu.be/xMJRIZeYk24

I'm not usually one for the more lewd side of things, but I'm now super excited to get it just because of how absurd it is.
