Lots of cool cells fit it too!
I looked this machine up, it looks pretty cool. I love ones that have a mechanical marble run center attraction like this rather than an LCD, I guess that's usually called hanemono but I'm not really sure if this would fall into that since it looks like the inlets are always open.

Grats on the pickup! I would love to find one of these someday.

I have just purchased my first Pachinko Pink Panther Version 1 Machine by Fuji

I am new to the forum and to Pachinko in general and have already been helped by several forum members with information regarding the workings of my machine.

The good news is it seems to be fully working!

Power Roulette is a great game. The Miniboy Poker looks interesting. What is a fair price for a working machine?

Unsure of the pricing on the MiniBoy. Can't imagine they're too expensive, but they also don't seem to come up a lot.

A friend lent me this pachislo. Anyone know the name?

    20200707_105239.jpg

I'd be curious to know what the menu options are here via the control pad. Sometimes the game just takes 3 coins and rejects the remainder. Sometimes the game lets you load up all your credits. Help please.

    Thanks!
Is there a FAQ of basic of the internals? The link you posted links to 6 payout configurations, so I thought "ok how do I alter these so my machine is more generous?

Looking in the machine, there were a few things that sparked my curiousity.

This is inside the door and the chart obviously lines up the 6 payout levels mentioned on that web site, but I have no idea how to change them.

This is from the coin entrance on the door. No idea what those numbers are.
but it sure does give ideas for designing escape room puzzles!

Last but not least, this is in the back of the machine above the reels. What curious little tabs, with the extras at the bottom. What are they for?
    20200708_114208.jpg

So I'm mainly interested in knowing how to change the odds, but also curious as to what everything else is. Sorry for the multiple posts, but pachitalk only seems to successfully upload one picture then fails on the others until I refresh the page.

    Lets see..

I think I have Hanabi's reset instruction somewhere that I can post.. (Odds change is part of the reset!!)

    [Reset/switches

Not sure if you have been doing the full reset (usually referred to here as the hard reset) it includes changing or setting the odds as part of the procedure

    as follows:

"How To Set the Skill Levels of Your Pachislo
    HOW CHANGE ODDS:

    "TURN YOUR MACHINE OFF FIRST"

    1. Locate internal key switch, and insert key.
Note: In order to change odds, machine must be in idle mode with no tokens/coins or credits being played and off.

    2. Turn "reset" key switch to on, to access programming mode.

    3. Turn on machine now.

    4. Depending on machine type, a number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on one of the LED meters on front door.

    5. Locate and push Skill button. Depress button and notice movement of number being displayed in LED meter.

    6. Once desired level is displayed (1 to 6), push down on play handle (Joy Stick) for 10 seconds, and depress both "BET CREDITS" and "COLLECT CREDITS" buttons to lock odds level into machine memory.

    7. Turn "reset" key back to off.

    8. Machine should immediately initialize. If not, turn power switch to the OFF position, wait 15 seconds and turn power switch back to ON position.

Also just to confirm some additional info regarding hard reset

Two switches on the power supply:
    - One requires a soft reset at the end of a bonus.
    - The other pays out all tokens at the end of a bonus.

For these switches in most cases off is in the down or right position. The for off and on are:

    無 = off

    有 = on

I believe those numbers on plastic things show manufacture date of said plastic thing, so.. 2000, November!!

And those squiggly things are tamper things for parlor use I think.. To get to the fancy gambley chips, you have to break the squiggly thing and use the next one to seel it again!!

Fancy gambling chips? I'm not sure what you mean but I am curious

Thanks for the info that odds are changed during reset. This machine actually had the reset instructions written inside, but I didn't realize the odds change there.

oh ok so the squiggle things are just a security measure to ensure that people working at the parlor don't swap in bootleg chips!
    Devious
So I guess someone goes through and does a regular audit to make sure the correct one is still attached.

Bought cheap, because the stop buttons and handle did not work.
Turns out the handle took a hit and shifted innards, blocking the opto, so the handle signal was stuck on.
