More tokens, Metal Gear Solid and CR Pumpkin have been added to my collection. It appears Death Valley will be leaving my collection very soon. I will miss it, but that MSG is awesome. The pumpkin is mostly just loud. I'll like it a lot better once I add a volume control to it.

The pumpkin was very dirty and filled with rusty balls. It's missing a small and large cover from what I can tell, and the front (first) layer of acrylic, but after cleaning it's functional and loud (with obnoxious music and sound effects). Adding a cabinet on my todo list (which currently consists of: A frame for my Sengoku Otome 3 poster, lids for my pachinko cabinets, slot machine data counter boxes, and now a new pachinko cabinet. Good thing the weather is starting to get a little nicer. Now I just need some time...

Nishijin Single Shot purchased off eBay for $90 and $100 shipping from Wyoming arrived today. Looks and smells like it was in a barn for quite a while and it has some water / rust damage.
Rough in some areas but the clear front door, and associated ball drain system were unique for me so I picked it up.

A new pickup: Samurai Spirits S Pachislot (Aruze ©SNK 2000).
In exchange for a license to use SNK's IPs, Aruze bought out SNK in 2000 and held on to their IPs until SNK could reform. This pachislot was made later that year; the first to use the Samurai Spirits IP. SNK, however, reformed as SNK Playmore the following year in 2001 and bought back their IPs from Aruze, effectively ending the licensing deal.
Aruze would continue to sell pachinkos and pachislots using SNK copyrighted characters, prompting SNK Playmore to take them to court, ultimately winning an award of 5.64 billion yen in 2003.
This Samurai Spirits S pachislot features an art and sound style inspired by Samurai Spirits IV and the series' hanafuda deck.

I picked up, pretty much, the same machine earlier this week. Looks like everything is the same, except for the upper pass through.
It had been listed on Facebook Marketplace for over a month, listed at $100. I offered $30 and they accepted. Pickup was about 20 minutes from my house.
The shooter tray is broken and needs repaired. As does the ashtray, that has a corner broken off. The plastic over the bottom tray looks like it was melted from cigarettes.

New cabinet with lid and brace to hide the wiring behind the data counter. Same as my other cabinets. This one will soon hold CR Pumpkin.
In the meantime my second poster frame completed as well and all my cabinets now have lids.

CR Pumpkin is ready to play. Added internal volume controls, a data counter, ball lifter, cabinet and replaced the second layer of glass. Oh, and cleaned it up from a non-playable state.
Without the exterior lights on the frame it is a much darker machine than the newer ones on either side.

I picked up a Kyoraku Ultraman 2006 a few nights ago. This was incredibly cheap and it came with a good frame and some balls, so I couldn't resist. You know how it is. The frame is the style with the bottom door in the front to retrieve the balls. I use that style of frame for classic pachinkos but not for fever pachinkos, so I'm going to make a new frame for this one. A side note here, this was by far the dirtiest pachinko I've ever bought. The clear plastics were nearly opaque from filth. This took a lot of elbow grease to get clean.
Seems like a pretty fun game. There are two bonus gates, the main one under the start pocket and a second one below the right path around the playfield. I played a bit and it's decent so I'll put it into the rotation, but I've got to get a dual channel potentiometer on here for lowering the volume first. What can best be described as a car alarm goes off for 30 seconds when you power it up. What a nice feature that is. One speaker is in the door at top right, but the other is behind the door in the body, and neither have easily accessible wiring so I'll have to take this apart a bit to investigate.
I dug out one of my Ultraman toys I had when I was a kid and he's standing on the pachinko in the third pic.

Fever Ghost, guessing late 90's and I was wondering if there is a way to remove the smoky haze between the acrylic glass without tearing the two pieces out and buffing/replacing? I was thinking a nice bright sunny day might help if left in it a few hours, not sure as I don't know so before I step on my dongle I thought of asking here, ty..
