it's turned all the way to the right and the ball only goes halfway up the ramp.
i'll start a support ticket with details on the shooter for this machine. hopefully it's something simple.

Didn’t realize you already have another frame… as mentioned in the other thread; there’s no adjustable shooter strength knob I can find. Check if the spring is missing/damaged on the end of the “hammer”.

If all else fails; can simply cell swap it to the frame of “Strike it strike it” mahjong one, although that one is fun, it’s no Apollo 1 ! Just takes 10 mins or so to do it on this frame. Kind of a pain compared to the ease of cell swapping of the new machines, but not hard.

Good looking machines you got there! Now you just need the Penguin too to round out the Maturi arepachi collection.

swapping cels is probably what will end up happening. saves on storage, too!

Yeah, once you have too many full machines in your house cell swapping is the way to go! I just swap them every few months; or every few years in some cases… Keeps things fresh so you don’t get tired of playing the same machines all the time.

Then once you pull them out of storage and swap the cells after not playing it for a year or two it’s almost like a playing a new machine! Much more effective use of space.

seems resolved now. the whole affair was a case of loose pin connectors in the back.
    shooter works, etc.

    thanks for the assistance!

100_1575.JPGFound this in Lorida Florida (yes, Lorida lol) it starting on FB Mkt with an asking price of 2K o.b.o.! The add struck me as one that's in dire need of a taunt. So I messaged the dude with a 100.00 offer to get a feel and so on. Long story short, got it for the original offer! Although the cabinet is home made, it looks pretty good to me and just needs some Formby's magic and should turn out well.

Since the last time I posted in this thread:
Tokio Special pachinko, a B1 sized Umaibo poster, two Umaibo keychains, Magical Halloween trick or treat pachislo, Dragonwheel pachislo, Sengoku Otome 3 pachislo as well as the original soundtrack and promo dvd, 7 data counters (Blade X) for slots, 2 Daichi DLZ-1 pachinko data counters, Neo Magic Pulsar pachislo and a matching keychain, about 4000 tokens, and about 4000 blue metallic pachinko balls. Oh, and 10 dollar boxes and another ball lifter.

And last month I added a Death Valley pachislo. And today for Christmas I received a Persona 5 pachislo.

It has been a busy 6 months. I am still waiting on Sengoku Otome 3 poster and a medal scoop, but they are on the slow boat...

A big THANK YOU to SibSr and Mark at Pachinko boy for the parts,(3D printed spinners from Sib. Outstanding work btw) and info, that without their assistance this fine looking machine would not exist.

My latest acquisitions over the last 4 weeks:

Fever Queen I pachislo with arm kit (2001 Daido)
    20231221_125352.jpg
I picked this one up super locally to me at a really good price. I bought it for the arm kit, but I'm really pleasantly surprised by how good it is. The sound and use of the bonus reels is downright exciting.

    Star Wars pachinko (2004 Sankyo)
    20240101_222102.jpg
Drove a few hours up north to pick up the LOTR below and ended up making a detour to also get this Star Wars. I already had the Indiana Jones in this same Lumina frame. Unfortunately this one has the slow boot issue, but it's really fun and my kids are enjoying it. I'm currently almost done making a wall mount frame.

Lord of the Rings pachislo (2006 Bisty)
    20240104_163819.jpg
Just all around great fun. I'm really enjoying how dynamic they made the play by using the digital reels and switching them up for the different modes. I ended up picking up a prop replica of Sting with the wall mount to mount it above this slot (still in the mail so I don't have photos yet). The sound work on this is really well done as well as effects like lightning that synchronize with LED lighting effects. It really gets you immersed nicely.

Samurai Spirits pachislo (2014 SNK Playmore)
    20240116_233624.jpg
This one just arrived by cross country shipment a couple nights ago. I haven't played it enough to really review it fully yet, but I'm blown away by the quality of the dual LCD screens and the complexity of the cabinet lighting. I love Samurai Spirits so this one is near and dear to me and the sounds and graphics are on point.

Well, I just picked this up from a fellow who is moving to a retirement community and getting rid of extraneous stuff. It's a Heiwa machine with a "sumo wrestling" theme. When you win a jackpot and go into fever mode the screen has little sumo wrestlers battling each other. Other than the usual grime it's in great shape! I think the thing that I like about it the most is the back of the machine is so well-organized! I own a couple of vintage (70's) machines and they always look so jerry-rigged to me. On the other hand, I own what I think is a newer machine, a Daido "Fever Quest" and the back of that thing looks like electric spaghetti! So I guess it's a happy medium. The attract-mode (is that what they call it?) text on the screen says, basically, "Tug of War Story." I mean, what it literally says is "Tsunatori Hanashi" and that's pretty close. Anyway, it's super fun and I would love to know more about when, roughly, it might have been made.
