Just purchased this Pachinko. My first ever.

How can I go about finding more info on it? It's a "Sammy" Machine I believe but I don't know much beyond that. Are there manuals that can be found for these machines that have info? Is there any maintenance that should be done periodically for the machine? Thanks for any help.

Not brought any machines, and been so busy with work and other projects (currently adding a 2x2 40" motor wall to the games room.

But did get some Minisuka Police 2 promo fans.

I also picked up this mains powered motor with 50 rpm gearbox. Which works lovely when connected to an odd automatic door processor.
Wonder what i can use this for

I also got 3m of chain, a gear and an idler sprocket too.

To go with my Re:Zero pachislo. How about a lifesize cut out.

Found it with another mid 80's machine across the state in Avon Park, package deal for 140.00 Now to find out how to work it,(how many balls, what hammer to use etc etc) as I'm not electronically savvy with these. For starters it will not reset/start when putting a token in. I've read that some of these have to have all bulbs working to operate but that's another story. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated..

Congrats Silverballs. Someone here told me if it lights up, odds are it will work. I replied to your other thread with some pictures that might help.

Nice score! There’s 2 solenoids to worry about to get it working; #1 is the one that drops the balls via trap door once a token is dropped to start the game. (Is that not working when you put a coin in it?)

Assuming you win 4 in a row or whatever the criteria for winning tokens is then the electronics determine your payout amount to be dispensed by the payout token solenoid once you press the reset/end of game payout button.

If neither solenoid is working I’d remove and inspect the boards for bad components. If can’t be repaired it’s a long shot to get donor parts unfortunately due to rarity.

I'd like to see a better picture of the coin mechanism. I believe that's where your problem is.

From the other pictures, it appears the machine is okay. The upper display has two "1's" and a "2" lit up, which matches what was won on the center display.
What if...the HOKEY POKEY, is what it's all about?

100_4531.jpg100_4537.jpg100_4532.jpg100_4530.JPG100_4529.jpgThis is my coin drop and on further inspection/tinkering I suspended a token in between the reader and the little red light came on followed by that black cylindrical capacitor heating up rapidly. I reset/turned off and back on after it cooled and removed token, no red light but black cap was trying to warm up again, just not as fast. I checked it over for hanky panky repairs and it all looks good, even the solder joints etc. Like sands through the hour glas.....

No, not working, coin just slides on through. On a positive note the solenoid works ONLY when you turn the machine on. So if you want it to dump your balls out for another round you must turn it off then back on again. no other features,(besides the scoreboard light work when a ball lands in it) work. I have on more capacitor to replace and will see what I can shake loose from there. found a site/business called the coin drop Cauldron in S. Carolina. Going to call and see if they would be interested if I hit a snag/s..

I have a similar machine...the center feature should have a motor and chain drive to turn it a few degrees with each ball down the middle.

In its current position, the arc of plastic that would normally be at the top of the center feature is at the bottom, which acts like a scoop for balls. In this position there is a large hole at the bottom of the disk that rotates into alignment with the drain hole. The result is a pay off opening that isalmost twice the size of a pachinko ball.

On my machine the motor turns the center feature a few degrees foeceach payout, so the large hole and "scoop" situation only last for a short time until they rotate out of this position.

The balls go in readily when all is lined up.

So the point of this long explanation was to say: If you are missing the drive chain and motor, the position of the center feature right is in now is the best for near constant payoffs..... And I guess it will stay there.... Should here the bell a lot!

Ahhh soo, I have a 10 rpm 12v right angle motor and some ceiling fan pull chain. Question is what does the upper switch contact with? I'm guessing a cog on a wheel attached to the motor, either interrupting or disconnecting the wheels rotation?

Exactly....a circle with a little notch in one spot mounted on the motor shaft.

    This motor is 15rpm
