Nice! The cabinet is the icing on the cake… those aren’t that cheap to make at home, and take 2-3 hours of work at least! Just a nice cabinet is worth $40 in my opinion.

Saw this one on Yahoo auctions and decided it was worth trying From Japan. Very happy with the result. Came with a transformer installed, volume pots installed, 500 balls, a plastic tray and keys.

I just picked this one up 2 days ago along with 1 other. Started working on this last night and the only thing I can't get working on here is the ball load door. I feel I am missing a piece that links the door to a rod. I know it's a long shot but does anyone happen to have a pic of what connects the ball loader door to the rod that opens it? Thank you in advance!!!IMG_20230315_194618599_HDR.jpg

I’m guessing your talking about one of these
can you post a pic of the shooting mech and the rear of the machine 86D8945F-5874-49F1-9C48-68FFD757EC7E.jpeg

or there should also be a wire starting a the top hopper that you should be able to follow down and see where it leads out to the Ball door8A902104-0A5C-4B8F-94F4-FCE13596C0E1.jpeg

Got my hands on a data counter, so now I have to figure out how to hook it up. Translating the labels helps a little but it will still be mostly experimenting.

I got it working and put it on the cabinet I built as well, so now it looks like this:

Ha, I used to have that same one as a kid!! Mine always had issues, the minute hand would get stuck on the hour hand (cheap low grade plastic parts made in China ) So the clock part was useless, then after a few years the motor stopped working to shuffle the balls around, so I threw it out one day while cleaning and getting rid of old junk in my room. Should have kept it as a decoration, it cost $65 back in 1993 so very pricey for Chinese junk… If only it was made in Japan….(excellent clockmakers!)
