    Default New guy here today-Mizuho Pachinko

    I spotted this at an antique store today for $75. I didn't think to take a picture of the back from the window outside. I was wondering what the age of the machine might be? Thank you.81370307_2693174917428869_9016659147843698688_n.jpg

    Definitely a vintage. Looks pretty clean. If everything is there on the back it should be golden. I'd try to get them down in price, unless it comes with a bunch of usable pachinko balls (that's your bargaining chip!).

    I picked up the Pachinko machine today. The case looks like it was built into a wall but thats ok. The cabinet shop next door has a CNC router.

    In the parlors, they are mounted into racks and always open on the back for servicing by the parlor attendants.

    We worked on the machine this evening and found two objects blocking things. One was a button and the other looks like wood plug? I can't upload pics from my phone, I'm getting a file error.

    They need to be smaller (some sort of computer speak). Less than 200...or 2000 something bites!

    I went down the rabbit hole today, had to get a bunch of stuck balls out of a area. I'm having an issue with the see-saw not returning up after a jackpot and a ball most of the time staying in the shoot?

    Sounds like something in the linkages make be dragging. Start with the see saw and make sure it tips back/forth freely. Do not use any oil. It could just be some corrosion of a brass contact point or washer.

    Let's try this one;

    Should the horizontal pathway return to the flat position or stay down, it doesn't move freely?

    that's better

    dirty/corroded pivot points..

    i see some disassembly, fine steel wool and q tips in you future

    clean the pivot post till the shine inside and out.. make sure tevery thing is super smooth and slick before you put it back together. no oil at all EVER.. some guys have used dry type spray lubes but i have never found a need to use them..

    if it moves on a pachinko machine, it should move with nearly 0 effort
