Beginner Needing Assistance Finding Key and Solving Error Message

Hello all,

I picked up a Pachislo Divers slot machine at a town fair a few months ago and am ready to tackle some issues with it. For what it's worth, I'm a pretty handy guy but not experienced with slot machines.

First and foremost, I do not have a key for this machine. If anyone could help me source one, that would be much appreciated.

Otherwise, when I plug the machine in I receive the error message "E4". I'm not certain what this means.

The machine seems to be in good physical condition, but there are many loose coins inside. I can hear them when moving the machine around. I wouldn't be surprised if this was part of the error, but maybe it's just a coincidence.

Regardless, here are a couple of photos of the machine (front and back).

Welcome!! For a replacement key, you might need a lock set. Ebay is a good source, keep4safety is a great seller for keys and locks.

E-4 is a hopper error (somebody check me on this) it could be unplugged or jammed. Once you gain access to the inside (usually a hole on the bottom or in the back that you can go through to trip the latch) check to make sure it's plugged in, and try to rotate it by hand and see if it will spit out tokens. There might be a bent/damaged one binding it up.

I believe Divers is a Yamasa brand machine. E-4 error code for some machines is a hopper error, but for Yamasa machines E-4 is a Ram error.
So, most likely the machine just needs a Hard Reset.

Hello super new to the hobby but I just recently picked up what seems to be a 2007 masked rider machine and I’m getting no display on the back LCD screen any insight or leads would be greatly appreciated the machine is other than that fully functional. The back screen is just completely lit up and wait game please fine thanks Mike
