Default 1952 Genco 400 vertical pinball

I saw this “vertical pinball” for sale; I’ve never heard of it or seen one before. Seems like a hybrid bingo pinball/pachinko/arrangeball/regular pinball (it has a flipper) I figure I’d share in case anyone needs to add one of these to their collection; or buy me a Christmas present.

Seems pretty cool! Found a couple videos of these in action:

Pretty cool. Hopefully Cait will come along and give us all a lesson.

    Here I am!
There is a small line of these vertical gambling machines. While Genco is more known for their pinballs these ball drop games are pure chance gambling, despite their "skill control" button.
6 ball drops for a nickel and then the lure of buying 6 more balls each for a nickel each because YOU ARE SO CLOSE to winning this time. All you're winning is credits, but like the one ball horse race pins and bingo pinballs of the era, your credits won could be cashed out by an attendant.
While obvious in reflection, the mathematical edge is really for the operator when you realize the balls can enter the same holes more than once. Running the odds numbers on games like this are a fun exercise in finite mathematics, if you're the type like me that enjoys that kind of thing
750 is an ok price for one as they have been increasing in demand, would recommend! I'd offer 600 it if it was anywhere near me.
    WANTED: 10¥ games, pre-1950s machines, スマートボール (Smart Ball), payazzo/kronespill, Pickwick-style (~1905)
if you have any of these in North America, let's talk.
