    Default Doesn't pay any holes

I got a game yesterday and today I plugged it in and found out it doesn't pay any of the jackpots...not a one.
It doesn't even pay with 3 like symbols on the LED!
It looks like the manufacturer's name is NYK, but I could be wrong.
Are there repair manuals available for these machines?
It looks like a digital computer from the backside, with all the tiny plugs & wiring.
I tried to search this site a few times for terms like "doesn't pay jackpots" and similar phrases.
Each time I would get pages of matches that didn't really match.
I'm not asking to be spoon-fed, but I could use a hint to get me started.
    Thanks.

is is this a pachislo (like a slot machine plays tokens) rather than a pachinko machine (shoots balls) machine ?

do you know the title / model or even a pic would help (pic size limit is 2mb for uploading)

Hopefully members can then offer advice to troubleshoot

The game has balls, not tokens. It says "Paradise" and "2000." Everything seems to work except the payout circuit. The "STOP" lite works, but I didn't think to check the "PAY" lite. I'll do that today.

Once I fixed a vintage game by removing an oversized ball. Is there any chance an oversized ball could make it thru the hopper and down the chutes only to stick in the jackpot device?

could be anything jamming it up or preventing payout, fluff, dead bug, nail, oversized ball. ball stopper gate down. dodgy low level ball tank switch, faulty bottom tray full sensor switch

Where does one learn all these terms? There must be some factory documentation that applies to this stuff.

I took another look today. The pay lite is on continuously and the stop lite doesn't lite up (I thot I saw it lite yesterday) although there is an indicator LED in back that lites when the ball supply gets low.

Also, I noticed that the inner ball chute doesn't empty when I dump the hopper. I guess I need to hunker down on this critter and take all those parts down to the point where I can manually release a payout.

I was studying it and jiggling the dump lever when three balls fell out.
(What is the term for the vibrator motor that sits atop the horizontal chute?)
So I removed the vibrator thingies and stuck my key in a slot, some balls shifted in the chute.
Then I jarred the chute and all the balls came pouring out.
I loaded that chute up again and it dumped OK.

good, but rememeber, the ball dump on most models is before the payout motor. just because you can dump the balls. doesn't mean there is still a jam before the payout assembly.

Sure, ever since the Model B, right?
Anyway, you're right, The balls in the pay gear are still visable in the one chute. I didn't have a chance to plug it in yesterday, maybe today.
