I raise you an original Fever Densha de Go!2 promo VHS cassette.

Doesn't work in my player as UK is PAL and not NSTC

If it wasn't such a pain to ship overseas I'd say I could digitize that for you. US has NTSC as well.

So were promo videos on tape and disc just the same kind of thing as modern PVs or was there more stuff on them??

The Promo Mediocre was a take away from the press future release of a machine so the information on the manufacturer page is the same as the promo pack .

The mfg do shut down the certain machine media page after a certain time .

Oh nice! Now, how the heck do you bid on a Yahoo Japan auction to get something sent to the US? LOL. Anyone on here dealt with that before?

    Yes. Lots.
Need a deputy service who take a commission and work as a middle manager.

    Read this.

    https://www.pachitalk.com/forums/sho...=Bidding+japan

    Other services are available.
Also if I was shipping this. I would.ask for packing inside the machine incase the transformer breaks free in transit.

Remember budget a good few hundred for shipping. Machines are big and heavy.

The last pachinko I had shipped to me (back in January 2025) cost $650 to ship, so keep in mind that shipping prices have gone up significantly compared to even a year ago.

Do you know what the weight was.
I expect this one to be in the 20KG mark.

$650 just for shipping? Holy hell... Between that, the machine, and a commission that's going to be more than my monthly mortgage payment. My wife would kill me for blowing that much on something that technically isn't even complete and working (missing hopper) so maybe this idea of mine to get both machines based on the works of Eguchi Hisashi isn't in the cards until I find one that's already stateside.

46KG according to FedEx. So pretty close to the limit before they require crating. 20KG for a full machine (the hopper doesn't weigh much usually) seems very light. It does mean a lower shipping cost.

And the commission for the proxy service usually isn't that high. A few bucks generally.

Right. Even so, that's a ton of money. I'm just guessing it wasn't a model that really made it's way over here too often because I've never seen one pop up for sale randomly.

Atoombolle, it says you're in Iowa which is right next door to where I live. I hate asking you to look into how the heck to get this thing here but is there any way you can see how much the shipping charges might be? I looked at the Buyee thing and it says I can't bid on it for some reason so... I'm kinda out of luck.

Newer machines tend to be heavier. Looking at posts They list about 35kg. I'm sure someone has a machine in the same frame to get an more accurate idea.

Sadly no. Shipping cost is always a surprise to me. And by then I'm committed and just have to suck it up. Clam is right in that it's lighter and thus shipping will be a little lower, but likely not all that much. It's going to be an expensive machine if you import it either way. Cheapest machine I have shipped to me was $300 in shipping, most expensive at $1000 (due to it being over 50kg and requiring a crate. I did not enjoy that hit to my wallet).
