Ok my "Handle" here is appropriate in many ways . The house that i grew up in was a 3 story brick in Milwaukee, Wis with a solid brick garage in back with a honest to goodness chimney on it and the kids would think it was a manor . The reference is to a chess move . In the Army the saying was "Take the objective " . the 57 is my birth year.
Or the very 1st Japanese Pachinko that i purchased was a Castle machine from Toys R Us back in 1976 and I've been hooked ever since then.

outdoorenth is short for outdoor enthusiast. I used to live in Southern CA. Now I'm in TX and miss all the outdoor activities I used to be involved with out there (snowboarding, mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, body boarding, etc.). I can do some out here, but it's just too darn hot here during the summer, not to mention very flat, with dirty beaches, no snow...<sigh>

The name Sederien was created from a fictional language made for a novel I'm still tossing around ideas for. It translates to "Nameless One."

Literally, however, it translates to "Beyond Naming" (sed = beyond, er = name, and ien = our English equivalent of 'ing'). However it reads more as an insult or slur and is therefore more appropriately translated as Nameless One.

Yes... I put entirely too much thought into the name, but I feel it necessary for a well crafted story.

Currently Own: Nothing. I play mostly online now.

I swear I did this but did not see a post from myself so...

way back in 97 when I was setting up my AOhelL account, I was having trouble finding a screen name that was available so I went with my grandfathers first and middle names Owen Newton (Owen is my middle name) and it has almost always been available for me on sites when I sign up (youtube and g-mail are the only exceptions) so I guess I am not very original but it gives me a good alter ego.

You probably won't want to hear that I did the opposite - I used to live in Houston, and moved to Los Angeles. It's SO much nicer out here!

Damn, was I rubbing that in? SO sorry...

As for my username, duh (take your best guess).

    PS - Love Nausicaa...

Thanks a lot! Sometimes I just can't stand this weather and the mosquitoes, but we would probably have to live in a small townhouse or apartment if we ever moved back and not this lovely house we have.

Nausicaa is awesome and Hayao Miyazaki is the best!

Must have missed this one previously, my name is the great "twin resorts" of the town I was born and brought up in. Great childhood memories of the twin beaches - the only problem is you need to wear an over coat here for most of the year. If you need to know the name of the town, now a City, Google Seaburn and/or Roker.

Named after a character in a book, who was renamed when the author's edition came out - and it's now almost impossible to find the original edition. So yeah. Obscure sci-fi reference ftw.
