    Default Aruze Corp max711 problems

I got this machine first time ever seeing one. When you turn the machine on it makes the sounds and flashing lights, but in the credits window it has CJ.I have read that’s a error code for coin jam, there isn’t any coins in it and hasn’t been for along time.
I tried putting coins in the machine and they fall right into the bottom tray I opened up the door and seems to be something missing like a catcher that directs the coins to the hopper.I believe some body has removed it the is also a place where you can plug something in there.I would like to figure out what goes there and possibly find the piece if any available or is this machine just junk.

looks like your coin mech is missing. It should look like this.

Hello adammmiller38 and welcome to the group

I have some coin mechanisms in my parts box but there were several styles and sizes of wire connectors used across many machines. (I'll try to find the specs on this.) That said there might be other parts needed if a prior owner used this machine as a parts donor. Did you get a pair of keys with it? One for the door lock and one for the reset switch on the power supply?

Yes I got keys and I don’t see that anything else is missing.

Here is a bit of info from the "M" series coin mechanisms. There are several different styles of the clip on the wire connection and they can be 2.0 or 2.5 cm wide with large or small wires.

So if you are interested in finding a proper coin mech then you have a couple options. The easiest is to find the same machine and identify what coin mech is in it. You could also post a straight on picture of the inside of the door area in question and measure the width of the empty wire connection below the yellow settings button.

I have an M2 and I measured the connector

    23.11 mm width

    4mm depth

    9.54 mm tall

pitch or distance between pins are 2.5MM

If your machines connector also measure like this it may be a M2.

I know it’s an old thread but I was wondering if you ever fixed the machine? I just picked up the same machine and could help identify the missing parts if needed.

From what I remember the coin mech I had was the right one. it was a M2 marked one with the connector that I described in the thread. I think the machine accepted coins but kept throwing a hopper jam code of some sort.

Default Aruze Corp max711 credit button problem

With no tokens in the machine if I press and hold the credit/collect button it is suppose to chance from credit to direct pay mode. The credit display is suppose to show " " in the direct mode. Also if there are tokens in the machine and you press the credit/collect button it is suppose to return all your coins. The credit/collect button on my Max711 does nothing. Any ideas what I need to do to get it working

The CJ error is because you don't have the coin mechanism installed. According to the manual it is a m2/m3/m4. Do a search for the Everything Pachislo manual. It covers a lot of different machines including yours. I have the same machine as you. The manual has helped a lot. It also shows part numbers of several of the parts. There are what they claim free manual but ends up costing you. I ordered the manual CD which cost $14.99 and is worth every penny. There is the link https://www.pachislos.net/manuals.htm

I found the problem why the credit/collect button doesn't work. The button is bad. I found one that I hope will work and ordered it. Won't be here until Feb 11
