Stick them in a bath of coke for 24hrs then wash them in the dish washer.

Ok. I have no idea. But the coke thing does work with coins.

I think the vibrating tumbler would move everything about much better that a rolling tumbler where tokens are concerned. Now after five years with thousands of tokens and balls it is time to upgrade the support equipment.

    Either way, a good investment

You can still try the coke with a handful and see the results. Then enjoy the rest of the bottle with some rum.

If you are wanting to make them shiny, them you are going to have to use a tumbler.

If you are just wanting to clean the dirt and grime off of them, then go to Walmart and get some mesh laundry bags, ($.99 each), put your tokens inside and put in the dishwasher. Works Great!

Now i do wet polishing of brass in a roll tumbler like this..(but bigger) it gets things way cleaner way faster but I'm using stainless steel pins instead of walnut .. not recommended for pachinko balls.. it striped the chrome off them..

So I should be able to polish my aluminum tokens with a tumbler? I have one left over from when I reloaded.

Should I run them through the dishwasher, dry them, and then tumble in corn cob medium for a few hours?

Will they be nice and shiny or just clean? I'm looking for shiny if possible. Any other products to use?

For shiny, I throw in a tablespoon of Mother's mag and aluminum polish.

For cleaning a few thousand tokens I had good results using bucket of hot water and Dr. Bronners Pure Castile Soap. Removed the dirt and grime pretty well.

If you want to have Very shiny and clean Tokens

And have a whole lot of time Use a Miracle Cloth with a micro fiber cloth ( Costco has a Huge bag of the Yellow ones for about $16.00)

    https://www.amazon.com/Miracle-Purpo...N9JFHGJJJS7YFJ

The really cool thing is that the Miracle cloth imparts a protective coating to the metal that doesn't wear off and the cloth contents is Non-Toxic.
When things don't go right the 1st time , Step back ,Take a break and come back renewed. RGS

That's really cool. I just want them to be shiny without a ton of work. I have a vibrating tumbler so I'm hoping to go that route.
The tokens aren't dirty and are in pretty good shape, I just figured I could get a nice shine on them.
