Default Pachinkos at AX2018 and my visit to the Red Dragon Casino in Laughlin NV.

Hey all, long time no post...
I just got back from my AX2018 trip to Los Angeles. I've been going to AX since 2012.. when I stopped going to Otakon in Baltimore. It was HOT.. 111 1 day which is crazy hot for LA... The con was good, the city.. not so much.. also got to go into Little Tokyo numerous times and met up with old friends.

So as like last year.. There is a vendor.. Genki Pachinko.. or something similar that sets up a booth in the Gaming Hall. This year they brought out several Pachinko and Pachislo. And this year I came armed with a buddy who could translate for me.. woohoo. Last year all I got when I asked questions was the response of Japanese Culture in broken english. So this year I inquired about the aluminum frames (see pictures) and how to get them... the girl tending the booth was very helpful.. even more so when she realized I came with a native speaker... lol. So good news is I have a lead on the frames used in the pictures.. I also may have a lead on newer machines.. but it's still too early to tell on that. Again this site likes to flip my images.. so just turn your monitor sideways.. lol

And lastly I made the trip to the Red Dragon Casino.. which is located in the Laughlin River Lodge in Laughlin Nevada. For those looking for it.. just go straight down the steps when your first enter the casino.. it's next to the bowling alley and the sign is in big Red Neon. Also as a bonus they have Karaoke booths lined with Anime goodies.. and one room seemed to have quite abit of Kurumi from Date a live and we all know she is best girl from that series.. so great taste.. lol

The hall itself as stated previously is pretty small, it has about 20 machines.. and several with empty hoppers. I played a few machines.. just to say I could.. no luck on my side, but I was only there for about 45 minutes.. I needed to get to my destination in Vegas. The Bartender told me to just get more balls from the lost ball bin when I wanted to play more.. so I refilled my bin a few times and still lost everything.. lol.

And I almost forgot the video..
