Sankyo High Grade 7&15 New Fever Attack

Got a question maybe someone can help me with.
I have a Sankyo 7 & 15 New Fever Attack New Model 2000 Version Pachinko.
It has a set of 3 slot machine reels with a LED display. Most of the time the display reads F0 which I'm taking to mean Fever Round 0. Shortly after installing a tranformer today I managed to line up 3 Money bags and got into fever mode up to level 5 at which point the machine errored out, probably due to lack of balls. The LED display changed to F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 Then it gave me an E something code. Should have written it down but I unplugged it to see if it would reset.
Does anyone know if the machine will go into fever mode with any 3 of a kind or only the three money bags?
