This almost looks like street fighter...but its not. It looks like it is based on another 3rd person fighter game where you pick famous warriors from history to be and "lead" an army into battle. (sort of like battlefront). Cannot remember the video games name for the life of me though.

You're right--It's the "Dynasty Warriors" franchise here in the US, and Musou Orochi (Warriors Orochi) is the crossover between Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors c:
Kinda shocked to see a machine now since a new Musou Orochi game hasn't been made since 2011, but we did get that Castlevania Erotic Violence last year, so eh.

The anime is a little dark. As for price. The original pachislo held its value over ¥100,000 for 2 to 3 years. Only now has the price started to drop.

For me the story line gets my attention first and then the way it is assembled with all the color, style, music and charterers. Before I bought my Girls und Panzer pachinko I had first watched some of the anime series and movies to decide if it was something I'd enjoy long term. I'm not really big into anime but do enjoy some.

Here is the basic plot for the series:

The story takes place in a universe where historical World War II–era tanks are maintained for sport-style warfare competitions and large carrier ships known as Academy Ships support mobile sea communities. Of the many activities high school girls can participate in, one of the most popular is "sensha-dō" (戦車道, lit.
