More ammo for azlew! Texas Auction

Just to put a finer point on azlew's bidding concerns.
The Aquanine that TA had for $239.99 & some silly early bidders raised to $380.99 with 1 1/2 hrs to go, has just been raised on his TAs site to $299.99.
I tried to purchase one the other day but Curt said they were lost!? I saw the rate hike & sent this email & rec one back.

Hi Curt,
I see you raised the price on the Aquanine.
Does this mean you found them?
Does it also mean I have to pay a higher price?

I don't have a clue what is going on. I think they raised the price based on the ship side invoice for the next container. The machines and shipping cost is going up daily due to fuel cost, availibity and the weak dollar. The new machines are in major demand in the Phillipines, Russia, and China.
All I can do is try to please our customers. The company management makes the rest of the decisions.
