Default Identifying and Connecting counter to lumina

Hi, today I bought this counter, but inmediately I saw the connectors and thought I need help with this.

Does anyone know what counter this is, and is is suitable for my Star Wars (R2D2) pachinko machine (Sankyo Lumina)?
If it is, can someone gelp me get this installed?

    Posting pictures ofcourse.
it has a bunch of thick wires, with 1 male and 1 female connector, which I think is fot power supply.
2 sets of thinner wires, 1 with 6 pins male and female connector, and the other with 4 pins male and female connector.
3 sets of thin wires with 2 female and 1 male connector. 2 of them are labled.

    Hopefully connecting it soon..

the multipin plugs (4 and 6 way) Male and female are for syncing counters together.
the 2 pin plugs in the second to last picture are probalby the right ones. The label looks like it says ootari (Sorry I haven't reinstalled my Japanese keyboard settings since windows 10 packed up on me)

Daverob did a pretty good guide here.

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/show...terminals.html

If I remember correctly the Lumina terminals are 3,4 and 5. But i could be wrong. There are various old threads regarding the Lumina frame and data counters.

That counter will work on your Pachinko

Many of those wires can be ignored, you will need to give the counter 24V as well. That is usually a red/yellow wire pair.

Then there should be 3 male or female plugs that will be the Big hit(fever), ball in pocket, and battle mode.

Once the counter has power... you can experiment with shorting the pins to figure out what each one does

I've connected it today, and the counter works, but couldn't figure out which connector goes where on cn3, 4 and 5
I just installed a good enough translator on my phone and it translated the black and white wires with the red text label wich says magnet contact output. The completely white wires with black text label was translated to jackpot contact output.
haven't connected that one yet because of the male connector. The brown and black is still unknown to me.
I have tried the female connectors at all 3 cn spots but didn't notice anything on the counter.

Try this quick guide for frame and cel

    https://www.pachitalk.com/forums/sho...r-lumina-frame

The counter will only respond when you get fever or start pocket hits. Also as mentioned before. You need to connect it to a 24vac supply.

A new update after a while..
I think I know which one goes where, but think the counter is now functioning properly.
I tried testing the connectors by shorting them
Only 1 responded was the black and white one.
it made the red leds on both ends go on.
other than that, nothing is happening to numbers or lights

I think black and brown is start, all white ooatari and black and white
I think I should contact the seller and ask for replacement

    Ok,
picture 2 from your first post shows the connector we need, the left one on the picture. Six wire male connector.
We dont need the brown and red wire from that connector.
The black wire is ground, it will go to cn3 cn4 and cn5.
the green wire goes to cn3
the orange wire goes to cn4
    yellow goes to cn5

I just cut the wires off the plug and put 3 new ones on.
the plug you thought were the right ones are the door open contacts.
They go in the board right next to the battle counter board. Brown/ black goes to cn1 and white/ black goes to cn2

I'm happy to announce, the counter is working.
Thanks to Trol for the essential information.

I've removed the pins from the connector.
Cut the brown and red wires and soldered them to the black wire.
With the pins still attached to the wires, it's easier to connect them to the pachinko.
ofcourse I've insulated all the pins with shrink tubing.

Haven't figured out how to, or if it's possible to reset the counter.

    Cool
I havent figured out the reset either.
I think with a remote control. I've opened up the counter and saw an infrared receiver inside.

No reset without a remote. Counters normally store the info from the past 3 days. After that. The info is gone. Of course with a remote you can program a lunch break

    Update:
finally managed to get my machine into fever.
Realised I mixed up the fever and bonus wires
cn4 and cn5 should be swapped, so yellow on cn4 and orange on cn5.

Seems like this link is dead. Is it available elsewhere?
