Default Do you leave your machines on or off when not in use?

Was curious about what everyone does if you leave them on or turn them off after playing? Do you unplug them or use the power switch?

Anything that can be switched off should be.

I replaced all my power supplies with good powervolt ones the original ones seemed to get hot quickly. They are not cheap but they seem to work well.

I also use powerstrips with on/off switches to kill power to the transformer. Beyond that i live in a city of trres and over head power grid. I bet they didn't think of that years ago lol. So the power goes out often. Due to this i purchase cyberpower battery backup units. This protects from surges and voltage flictuations. And if power goes out in the middle of game play. I have a few minutes to shut them down after the reels to stop spinning.

I've taken it a step even further and put my machines on a UPS. Same concept just protects against both surges and sags.
