It showed up yesterday and I unpacked it. Looked it over, plugged it in. Lights blink. Tried loading some balls in it, and they went straight through. The previous owner bent the two metal stops out of the way where it holds the jackpot. I straightened those out, now I have a problem with the payout motor jamming. I'll chase that more later.

Out of curiosity, I opened the case to the control board. It does have processor (Z80A), memory, prom, and interface chips.

The machine is an interesting combination of vintage and modern. There's still a mechanical linkage between the award tray and the shooter to not let you shoot if the tray is empty. But the shooter is electronic. Why not have the computer sense the tray and shut off the shooter? It also still has the see-saw. I figured with the computer you could have done away with that too.

Does anyone know the rules to the game? What has to happen in what order?
