Default Hammered by the ?'s, but getting a lot of $$

This guy was hammered by people because of his description but is getting top dollar for it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...180165831&rd=1
I was a little mad at the people calling it Japan junk! I wonder if they ever played a pachi?

He's in San Diego? What you can have a slot machine there? He's getting the bids because of the Dunes logo. People are thinking it's a Vegas slot.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

You can always get some newbie who doesn't know any better bidding the auction up. That's what happened here. This seller is lucking out by having a newbie with 1 feedback just wanting the machine.

That's just insane! Dealers are having a hard time getting decent prices for nice machines like Neo Planet and Beast Sapp and this Bozo is gonna get over $600.00 for this? It would serve him right if the newbie stiffed him. I've been victimized by 1 or 0 feedback bidders and normally wouldn't wish that on anyone but at least I accurately describe what I sell. What a rip-off!

"The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing." He was going to get some good money for that machine. Must be a seller with some integrity after learning more about the machine.

I believe he had a bid over $600.00 before ending the auction due to an error in the listing.

Speaking of errors, did anyone notice that TA removed his TB & took off the starting bid & the BUYNOW?

I think itÂ’s a conversion of one of the Olympia "Bunny Girl" machines that were first sold in November 1988. The machine is probably no more than 17 years old, and not the 25 years or older needed to make it legal in California.

This is one of the three kinds of converted pachislo machines that I've seen sold as "Dunes" slot machines. The oldest one looked like a conversion of one of the Olympia "Star Dust" or "New Star Dust" machines that were sold in 1986 & 1987. And the other was the Universal machine that there was a post about last November.

All three of the machines have had all of the artwork changed and been reprogrammed for 1 - 5 coin bet, 200 max payout, etc. If someone just made them to sell as fake Vegas machine they did a lot more work than most.
