Hello all! I just joined this forum on my trip to Japan after discovering my love for pachinko! I have played in a few parlors now and I was looking to buy a machine of my own. I have checked online and I am having a lot of difficulty finding a history of Eva machines (since those have been my favorite) and I have only found Eva 8 and 9 for sale so I was wondering if anyone could help point me in the right direction for my quest? For reference I played 9 and hated it, played 4 and enjoyed it, saw 8 and was intrigued, and have played another one that didn't have a handle or button (just the normal wheel to turn) which was my favorite. It played the Eva theme song with video from the intro of the show when you got a jackpot.

My quest is to see every Eva machine if I can and to own a few if possible.

You can post a want AD in the classifieds for the older machines..
You can still Get Eva 8 from Akimono

Also try ebay... they pop up from time to time.

Somewhere in here there's a thread with several member's opinion on the various Eva pachinkos. I've only played 6 and 7. 6 stinks and 7 is great.

I've played all of them from 4 up. Really didn't dislike any of them. 8 is the most complicated (tho X is close), 6 is probably least interesting.
