    Default Explain battle counter

What is a battle counter for and do. Does it make the game more fun or just a statistical thing?

Apart from the additional light show. It's purely a statistic thing. Keeps a log of how many start pocket hits as well as ootari and length of fevers.

    Another Question:
Along with powering down, as in unplugging or cutting a power source to game machines that may or may not loose stats, does the battle counter stats reset after a loss of power? Or do most have an internal battery or other internal source to keep a memory of play stats? I have been curious about buying some but this held me back.

hmmm. I think it depends on what model. On mine. it keeps the log of past wins, but the start pocket counter gets reset.

Say you just finished a fever and returned to normal play. the start pocket counter would show say something like 125
If you turned it off for the night and back on again the next day. The counter would show 0. but it would still show the stats from the previous day.
