Is there something special i have to do to post pics from my tablet?

My laptop died, and I have been using a Kindle Fire tablet. I haven't found a way to load pics from my digital camera to the tablet, so I have to take pics with the forward facing camera. This explains the lousy pics I have been posting lately. It was a learning curve to finally get one posted, then I had to remember how I did it. I also have an LG tablet with a better camera, I still can't figure out how to post pics. Therefore this method may, or may not work. It seems like they all operate differently.
Here is what works on my Kindle. Tap "go advanced", then tap the paperclip at the top. Tap "add files", then "select file". At this point, on Kindle, I have to choose where to select the pic from. Once selected it goes back to the "attachments scren" (best name I could think of), tap "upload file". A blank grey square appears in the "attachments" box at bottom, and your pic appears in the "home" box. Tap the pic in "home", a "?" appears on the pic, tap the "refresh" circle with an arrow in the address bar at the top. The pic now appears in the "home" box with a blank square in the corner. Tap the square and the pic turns blue, a checkmark appears in the square, and "insert inline" changes from "0 to 1". Tap "insert inline" and the "1 changes to 0" tap "done and the pic appears on pachitalk! KINDLE_CAMERA_1443574317000.jpg
Hope this helps! As I said earlier, it didn't work on an LG tablet. I'm sure there is a way...I haven't learned it yet.
