    Default Early Christmas in Surrey

During a moment of madness, I have ordered 5 boxes from Japan, the first 3 have turned up with only 2 to go, One of those is balls, the other is an empty frame. Picked the 3 that have arrived up from the office today, 2 complete machines and a cel.

They are a heavy lot, thats for sure. So here is teh first batch of pics for you all.

A bit of a squeeze but they did fit in the van, wth all the spare parts and tools.

The cel was a little disappointing, I got it in auction from kenchan. Who is normally a good supplier of clean cels. This one not so. It will need a good strip down to clean the dirty ball path ways. But it did arrive without and damage.

The cel it self should be pretty easy to attach to the frame as it seems to have quick connector plugs rather than leads, and with easy hook up to battle counters to

So today I finally got the 2 big boxes out.

I have my first ever Kyoraku !!

    DSC06187.jpg

as those of you who go to the shout box you will know it has roses in the title, it also includes them on the playing field
And those who don't go to the shout box.... Why not?

I love the colour of this frame

Box 2 had the Sankyo in it, A stunning gold frame, Although there are some marks on the shooter, But the rest is in great condition.

Hope to get them powered up later for proper testing, then we can see how loud these babies are
Neither came with keys or dongles, but I have plenty of keys and can knock out a dongle in 5 minutes...

Well I plugged them in today, And greeted by an alarm from both machines, The Sankyo cleared its self, The Kyoraku took more effort with on screen warning messages and sirens. But sorted it in the end.

So here are the pictures of the gold frame

    DSC06198.jpg DSC06199.jpg

here you can see the quick connector for the cel to plug into,

    DSC06201.jpg

The cel is held in place be a sprung loaded clip topand bottom, So you should be able to swap a cel in about 30 seconds

    DSC06202.jpg DSC06203.jpg

I also had these large guide books turn up with a PV dvd.

    DSC06204.jpg

For some reason, the pics are the right way up in my viewer, but upload wrong

Nope, be busy on call this week, haven't even had a chance to fit the cel in the frame yet. Let alone dig into the wiring.

Don't know about the speaker wire on the new EVOL frame, but on the V-Trigger/V-Spark frame, there are two plugs where the cell plugs in, in a vertical layout instead of horizontal
and the speaker wires are #3 and #5 from the top on both sides of the shorter top plug.
Maybe Sankyo kept the speaker wiring the same on this new frame, and used the shorter left plug??

Anyway, here is a link to a previous Pachitalk thread for wiring speakers on the v-trigger frame, in case this helps.

I found this image on a yahoo listing for an EVOL frame game. So I think that gives us a starting point, can't quite see where it's wired into this this image, but I expect to find something useful in that connector maybe ???

    Cheers

    Ta-daa

    Spoiler

Although if you follow my twitter you would already know

To be honest, these sankyos are realy quiet using the pot on the back and the user settings from the joystick, and don't need the extra controls, As for the Kyoraku, its loud alarm on start up is a complete pain. Its got some many menus on it, plus access to the QR code system for logging on and off, I need to download the app for it so I can unlock the game some more.

Played the Star Wars one today... odd system for getting in the start bucket - takes any sorta skill out of it. Lost 2000¥ @ 2¥ per ball
