Can anyone design a STL for this bit? It was completely missing from my machine.

Hmmm, I can design the part but not sure how you'll add the metal hardware parts. When I get a chance I'll pull one off my machines and try and replicate.

I have this but the mounting ears are broke off. If someone could print it, let me know the price?

Hi TheJadeGeek, I haven't forgotten about you. It's just been so super busy finding the time to get around to doing it. Have had other life priorities lately. Hopefully sooner than Later.

Hi again, Sorry it's taken me so long. Here is what I came up with. It's from my Daido machine so not 100% identical to yours, but should work. Your still on your own to figure out hardware for it.

image.jpgBy chance does anybody have a STL of the ball out flipper on a Sankyo around 1976?. Please see the attached image of my broken part “the flange on the bottom what holds the counter weight.

anyone familiar with these kinds of shelves? Costco sells them, and I think it's generally a standard product across North America
    https://www.costco.ca/seville-classi...tml?langId=-24

    image.png
The wire rails have 16.24mm gaps between each, and each wire rail is 3.55mm thick
I use these for my pachis because I can adjust all of the shelf heights super easy. It lets me have them at a good playing height, and I use all of the other metal racks below for family storage. (or for other machines)

What I would LOVE is if someone could design a tray/bowl that sites on one of these rails and balls exit the bowl via a single hole that feeds down. That way I can place that bowel on a rack (it can have ridges so that it sits across a few of the metal rails to distribute weight, and to stay put) and pour balls into. If the pachi is just beneath that rack shelf, the balls will easily feed into the hopper. (Obviously the exit tube from the bowl would have to have a 16mm diameter or less to fit through the space between each wire)

Does anyone have something like this?
Is anyone willing to take this on? Willing to put in a donation for it.
Happy to sketch out my design idea, but it's pretty basic and essentially what I said above.
    WANTED: 10¥ games, pre-1950s machines, スマートボール (Smart Ball), payazzo/kronespill, Pickwick-style (~1905)
if you have any of these in North America, let's talk.

Maybe because I have no sense of scale but that looks extraordinarily expensive

are you talking about the metal rack shelves? They are under $200 and can easily hold 4 pachinkos (though only 2 at torso height) so they're a great deal.
If you mean the Kohler sink thing, yeah that's very expensive but I think it's a long trough sink the kind you might use in a utility kitchen. Would be amazing for food prep.

I sent this in a message to CarlW, but I'll share part of that here as well:

I had one of my shelves out of the unit so I can show you what the surface looks like

The small rails are 3.55mm thick, and the gap between each of them 16.24mm

I envision a rectangular bucket that will sit on this rack.
It doesn't have to be huge, just a decent size for pouring balls into. It doesn't have to a hopper and hold 3000 balls, it's essentially a large funnel custom designed to sit on these racks.

So a box on top, maybe 6" wide and 4" deep.
It doesn't need to be a hopper, just has to have walls tall enough so that balls don't bounce out, say 2" tall walls?

The bottom of the box should have circular ridges so it sits nicely on the metal ridges of the rack.
so half-circle indents on the bottom, spaced out 16.24mm apart. The center of each indent along the bottom would be 19.79mm apart. (16.24 + 3.55mm though these could get verified further)
the wires have a diameter of 3.55mm, but for tolerance sake we would probably be fine with like 3.7mm diameter for the half circles along the bottom.
The ridges would help it stay securely in place on the rack.

The bottom of the box would have a gentle slope towards one point at the bottom, and then a funnel exit that protrudes a few inches (3" maybe?) downward, directing the pachinko balls into a hopper beneath it.

Curious to know if you see any obvious flaws here in the idea, like maybe the protruding funnel piece can't be strong enough?

    does this make sense?
It seems like a good idea because these kinds of racks are actually fairly common, and this could be an easy way to load a pachinko machine that is in this rack system, you just need access to the shelf above the pachinko. (shelves are very adjustable height-wise)

I hate to think how much this would cost to print, but if you have a printer hopefully this will work. I followed the dimensions precisely. I didn't create a funnel portion. Good Luck Send me a pic of the finished piece. Oh a check for $10K

wow, very cool, thank you! Is this prohibitively large and expensive to print?

I would imagine so given its over all size. If I was using those racks I'd be more inclined to create box out of MDF board.

i had one of my prototype students do a partial print (tray and 10% of the wall height) and wow i think it would run over US$800-$2200 to print fully. we went with ABS because a ricocheting steel ball can be something else...
here's a thought: print only the bottom tray part and the user can then add their own box walls. This may cut the cost down to about $30-50 with PLA.

Here is a Striped down version with just the bottom and a small lip that you could easily place cardboard or paper board box into.
