    Default Nice ball tray

I found these for $1.99 at target today and fit perfectly. I saw someone posted something from Walmart but I couldn't find that post anymore. I like this better because of the lids

Now I'm thinking of building a simple lifter with a plastic tube that has a small motor on bottom powering a belt with fins that lifts one per fin to the top and drops off. Think of a treadmill.

You really only need one lifter for all machines. Make them all drain in a single bucket and lift to a single one up top. I was thinking suspended paintball hoppers into the top bucket of each machine so it only fills up as it's emptied.

After I hit a big fever on my GitS:SAC I added a fan to keep the lifter motor cool. Haven't had any issues but it did get really hot before I added the fan. The top tank is small so I have less than 1,000 balls in the machine and cabinet. I'm thinking of redoing my design to add a reserve on top to double the number of balls. I can always mount the counter to that. (FYI in the front the balls fall through a hole in the tray and are channeled into the lifter)

No, I don't think it can keep up with even one, as I think the average game is kicking out 15-30 balls a second whereas the lifter only moves 9 per second. However, all games stock wins, even most vintage, so the lifter will eventually catch up. Since we're not playing in a parlor atmosphere where it's possible for multiple games to be winning at the same time, the lag time of a slow lifter isn't an issue. I have seen a webpage in Japan where a guy uses 2 lifters in parallel which would solve this somewhat.

The best home built parlor stand I've ever seen.

This was awesome, but looks like to much work, and cost would be close to $500 for wood and supplys

Aside from the wood, he has access to all the cheap stuff in Japan. I've got most of that ball handling stuff, but shipping to here is the killer.

I wondered how he managed to get a silver lifter to lift that high, Then I saw he didn't. He is using 2 sets of 2 with a step in the middle.

probably not.. but if you had enough balls in storage at the top it would catch back up..

    and of course
