Do they also sell spare bulbs? Think it'd be useful to have a handful of spares. Just a few small and a few large (with or without holders).

Or are they easy enough to get in the UK (maplins had no idea when I showed them, especially the small one).

No idea on bulbs, don't have one and never changed one plus the deputy fees for small priced items is a killer.
