    Default Stealth & pachislo.com specials

Stealth has some pretty good specials this week. Neo Magic Pulsar for $150 and a Gamera for $100. If I had the room I'd be tempted to pick up the Gamera just to have it sitting beside my Gamera High Grade Vision.

And, pachislo.com has some new specials. Unfortunatley they are now bundling them with their auto-stop boards and put the prices up to $150.

It appears to be an attempt to move their auto-stop kits. Must not be selling on their own very well.
    Meanwhile, somewhere in Oklahoma.

The auto stop kits cost them next to nothing. It's a move to increase the profit on the machines. You're going to see some increase from all the sellers. Bigbear already said they will, Pachislo.com already has on both the retail and wholedsale side. Token prices are going up also. The little guy is soon going to be squeezed by the big ones. Customs are going to be the best chance to compete...

I don't want autostop, credit mod or bandit arms but most newbees do. I was all set to install one then someone said to me that if I wanted a real vegas machine why didn't I just buy one in the first place. It made me think. The vegas machines are a lot larger, have different sounds etc. No matter how I desecrated the pashilo I was never going to make it over to a real vegas machine.

I then went out and bought two IGT vegas machines ($1500 investment). Thinking that I would finally have what I wanted. They were fun for the first week or so then I realized that all I was doing was feeding tokens in. These were not a game. There was no skill involved. Insert coin, pull arm, repeat.

I have since realized that my Pashilos are a lot more fun and that they are at their finest by being left pure.

Their new auto-stop is a replacement board, but it is a completely different size and shape that the normal stop board. They may not be removing the original board at all. You can probably just take out the replacement board and hook the cable up to the original board.

If they have a machine that you want, It'd be worth a call to check.

The Umi Ichiban machine is generally very well liked. From what I've seen there's lots of action on the little LCD screen.

That's good to know, Chris. Thanks.

I don't know why I was under the impression that traces were cut to install autostops.

Milt still has a machine listed I want, so does Valley Gaming, but VGs $89 shipping keeps hollding me back.
