CJ code on Mizuho slot machine

Hi,newbe here.Just got a free machine.I have no keys.It makes noises,lights up and shows CJ in the spot right near where you put the coins in.I cleaned all coins out and looked for jambed coins,thats it.Thanks

Yes I can get inside,but I dont have a key to that box on the lower left.

Been there..It's really a simple fix. You're going to have to remove the power box on the lower left. Once you have removed it open it up and remove the reset key cylinder and replace it with a toggle switch a basic on-off switch. There should be only two wires connected to the key reset cylinder, just place them onto to the toggle switch. You're reset problem will be solved and then you will be able to do a total reset which should clear the CJ error coin jam. I have done this on several machines and every time it's been a success. sometimes all you need to do is a soft reset, just twist the door key to the left instead of the right.
