Default Need Part from Junked Nishijin B - Help?

This weekend, I purchased a Nishijin B machine and got it home before I realized that the previous owner had cut a ball chute in half that hangs off the back of the machine (brown chute that goes perpendicular to the ground). I cannot currently post a picture, but I will try soon. In the meantime, is there anyone here that might be able to help me? I am hopeful that someone has a junked machine that I could score that chute from.

I saw the entire back section on ebay, but with shipping, it would cost me almost what I paid for the machine. Hoping to find someone who can work with me.

    Many thanks!

I have lots of parts from several junked B machines. Post a pick and I will see if I have what you need.

Not the first that I have seen which had been cut. I have 3 or 4 machines with that chute cut off. Hopefully Jeff can help you out. I know I don't have spares.

Why do you think they were cut off? What would be the reason?

Looks like the "ball dump" chute. I have no idea why it would be cut!

Good news! I have two of these chutes in my spare parts box. One is opaque and the other is transparent. The opaque one is missing the two posts that are typically used to route wiring, and it has foam tape residue on it that will come off with a little elbow grease. The transparent one is in perfect condition. Both are coated with years of grime.

Please send me a PM with your shipping address and let me know which one you want.

Just FYI for anyone else out there who doesn't know. There is no difference between the clear or drown chutes. They are exactly the same, just different colors.

Great to see you had some Jeff.

I would say so everything spill right out (downward) but by cutting it balls go everywhere. I honestly have no clue why this was done.

Purely an opinion, but there was a huge ball jam and it seemed like a good idea to relieve the problem. There is still a ball jam in the machine, but I'm going to take it apart piece by piece; strip the back down to bare bones. Then, I intend to have James at pachinko planet replace the play field cell and shine the pins. I'm going to restore the rest. It is a garage project that may have to wait until the spring. Some here may do a tear-down and restore in a week, but I am very slow. going to hand paint the plastic pieces on the face and with James' help, it will really be a great piece when done. The feature is the great white shark...... A personal favorite of mine. Looking forward to the finished product, although it will likely be into 2015. No worries......half the fun of these machines is to take one that is ready for the trash and bring it back to life.

thanks to Jeff, my replacement part is on the way!
