Hey guys, looks like the dongle should be coming in pretty soon.
Unfortunately, I think I'm having another issue.
The Eva-02 animatronic head inside the machine seems jammed and won't move properly.
Is there any way I can try and fix this?

    Hi Ragin,

You just got this machine from a commercial seller. It's still under warranty (initial sale warranty, anyway).

Why don't you just deal with Frank on all this? (though we are of course happy to lend a hand).

After all, it's actually his responsibility to make sure: a) you're happy, and b) everything works the way it should on arrival.
There is always another machine around the corner...

does the head move when you start it up, can you hear gears skipping??
some things might not move till you hit a certain combination on the screen??

on my Eva one the ship moves on startup, but, the Eva mouth only moves during a certain screen!

True, but I was hoping someone here might have a quick fix.
I thought I might as well see what everyone here says while I wait for a response from Akimono.

It just kind of jiggles in place and makes buzzing/clicking sounds on startup.
I dropped some balls into the pocket to trigger beast mode, but even then it refuses to move and just jiggles around.
If the gears are out of alignment, is it possible to move them back to their proper position?

The cel would have to be removed and layers stripped down, it's probably jumped out of a guide in transit. But stripping cels isn't for the faint hearted. Best leave it to Frank,
