    Default Power switch stuck!

    Hello everyone,

I have a 777 machine that was working perfectly fine. I pressed the power supply switch to the off position and now It doesn't seem to stay in the on position?! Pressing it feels almost spring loaded and will not click and lock into the on position. I checked the 10amp fuse beside it and it looks good. Has anyone experienced this before? Heading out now to grab a set of fuses in case it is cased by a bad fuse but I doubt it since the fuse did not look burnt.

    Here is the machine

Here is the power switch I'm talking about.

Symptoms sound just like a bad switch. Unplug it, remove power supply, open it up and remove the switch. It it almost certainly a single pole single throw (SPST) switch. Meaning only 2 wires. They will be soldered, so snip them off as close to the switch as possible, or preferably unsolder the wires, so they don't get any shorter. Take it to a Radio Shack, or wherever switches are sold, and find a SPST switch that fits the hole. Reinstall switch and solder the wires back, it don't matter which way they are installed (as long as there are only 2). You will be back in business in no time!
    And TO PACHITALK!

    WELCOME!!!

I assume you are talking about the top power switch and not the keyed switch??

I'm not really a pachislo person, but from reading the old posts it look like a commonish problem.. I would guess replacing the switch is what is needed as pachiwall suggested!!
