    Default Another Cruise Ship Slot

Has anyone found out what Cruise Line it is using these slots?

"Hello, yes I'd like to order that Brooklyn Bridge, can I get that in burnt orange?"

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...173509552&rd=1

They sure don't get much in bids though..

i'm not famailar enough with the various machines to even tell what it is. However, $2.50 isn't a bad price.

    Any ideas Tulsa?

As far as we can tell - no cruise line (Japanese included)is using pachislos these days or we would have the info by now. Cruise line ships(including Japanese) primarily use USA Slots or simular and some only have them on as free play.

I just emailed via Ebay this seller asking them to provide me the name of the cruise ship and the date it was pulled from the cruise ship. I don't expect an answer as all the others that claim these came from cruise ships either don't answer the ebay inquiry or say they were told by their source yada yada yada...

This is just another "inventive" way to advertise these "Las Vegas Full Size Slot Pachislos"

    I know, rhetorical question.

At the flea market I set up at, people always ask me if they come from cruise ships. I try and tell them they come from Japanese Pachinko Parlors, but they insist as they walk away that they come from cruise ships?

I think I read they were on Cruise ships a long time ago but nothing turns up for Pachislos on cruise ships now on all the searches we have done. Of course there are plenty of cruise ships with real slots tho....

By the way so far I have not heard back from this seller as to what cruise line the pachislo came from(and yes I did ask nicely...)

    Lew-

I think you are right. We went on a cruise about 5 years ago, and there was plenty of slots, but no Pachislos. I just think people think because they are smaller than a Vegas slot, they are used on cruise ships for some reason. I had an elderly man, just this past Wednesday, at my flea market stand, swear to me that they were on his cruise ship (as many others claim).

I'm afraid that this is the closest these will get to cruise ships.

hehe yep I doubt that there have been any pachislos on cruise ships for many years if ever.

In fact , we have not been able to come up with anything via the internet or otherwise that shows pics of pachislos on any cruise ship ever. Nor have we come up with any names of old cruise lines etc that had them.

Maybe someone out there would like to take up the challenge of proving this statement wrong (please?) : NO PASSENGER CRUISE SHIP HAS EVER HAD A PACHISLO ON IT.

Wouldn't you think that if you were Japanese and gambling was illegal (yeah I know how it 'really' works!) that the cruise ships would have the real deal as an enticement? Just like when they come here they like to go to firing ranges because gun possesion is illegal also. Also like going outside Clark county Nevada when in Las Vegas (Wink, wink!)(where I am now although I don't plan on leaving the county!!)

I just got an answer from the person selling this cruise ship pachislo. He says he doesn't have the name of the cruise line or ship but that he knows it is from a cruise ship......I invited him/her to join Pachitalk.com
Please : if a dealer or distributor says it is from a cruise ship, get something from them that will prove it . Too many people have passed this statement about cruise ship pachislos around with no proof. Even a website with pics of it on a crusee ship and verification from the cruise line would be fabtastic. At this point anyone (distributor, retailer etc whether from the USA or Japan or Iceland...etc ) that says yes a pachislo came from a cruise ship needs more than just a statement. We want absolute proof ! (At least I do ) Of course a cruise ship should I suppose be defined as a ship that is carrying people primarily for cruisn' pleasure...not container freight cruiser thingys

    RKnarr01 :

I am hoping somebody will come up with names of old or new cruise lines with websites and true verification(pics or whatever) that pachislos have indeed existed or exist on passenger cruise ships. We bashed this around before and I am going to drop it for now as it just seems like the answer is out there but no proof exists.

Well, they're not on Carnival or Royal Carribean. Everything on those is just like in the casinos back home (which for us from Nebraska means Iowa, Kansas, Missouri or S.Dak).
