    Default Heiwa Pachinko Aquired

Hello there. 12 hours ago, I'd never heard of a pachinko machine. I now own one.

I have in idea the model, year, value, how to get it to work. There's an "F" displayed. Is that "fault?"

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks!

to PACHITALK! Nice looking machine! I don't know much about early moderns...or moderns either. I lean towards vintage machines. I am curious to know if it works...do you have pachinko balls? It is labeled CR, which I believe stands for "card reader" It has 2 buttons and a display on the shooter tray. Therefore it should need a dongle to make the shooter work. I don't see a dongle, or a port to plug one in. Maybe it is in the rectangular cavity just below and to the left of the shooter motor on the lower right side of the back.
First of all you will need hundreds of pachinko balls...1000 would be even better! Fill the top hopper on the back with balls, and about 50 or so in the front tray. The number in front don't really matter...it is like saying "you need 50 quarters to play a slot machine!" Grasp the shooter knob making sure skin touches the chrome ring on the knob. This is an anti cheat device to keep people from wedging a coin in the knob to hold it in a shooting position, and playing several machines at once. The 2 screws (or knobs) in the recessed oval lower left side are to adjust the sensitivity of the chrome ring, and adjusts shooter speed...if I'm not mistaken. The button labeled "R" should be the reset button. Try turning power off, press and hold the reset button in, turn the machine on, then release the reset button. If the "F" is an error code, this should reset it. The levers at the middle right, marked with paint, one of which should be a "ball dump" lever. ONLY LOAD A FEW BALLS INTO THE HOPPER until you see if they stay in the machine or dump out the back. You DO NOT want to pour 1000 balls into the hopper, only to find out the "ball dump" lever was unlocked! This is about the extent of my knowledge of modern electronic machines. Someone else who knows more about them should be along soon!

Heiwas with that blue control box on the lower back (with the reset button) that controls the shooter, sometimes goes bad (for reasons we still don't know) and won't shoot anymore.. The one above seems to be labeled BC-2 and I think the the ones that usually have probables are Bf-1(??) so hopefully this one will be fine!!

I thought it was called a BF1 box but after a few searches i could not find a thread??? Im guessing "BF1" is too short to use search.. thanks for the clarification

I also just acquired this same model and don't know where to begin. I've read what's here but more importantly, did you manage to get yours up and running and functional?
