Need some help, just picked up Gamera Slot and an issue I'm having is every time I power off the machine and start it back up, I have to press the reset button, but whats making me scratch my head the coin mech keeps clicking while I press down on the reset button and what I have to do is hold down the reset button and everything comes alive, but if I release the reset button just the odds lite comes on. What I have to do is drop a coin through the coin drop while holding down the reset button as soon as the coin passes through the sensor the machine is fine. The original reset the key broke off and was replaced with a push button type reset because there is a plastic door that covers the control box.

I'm no expert, but the reset should be a switch. By holding it down your entering the odds vs. play mode. You should be able to swap it out with a simple switch. I believe that to be your problem, but I'll let others comment.

On my Gamera the odds setting switch is a button on the inside of the door on the circuit board and is not on the power supply. You still need to follow the same reset steps for the machine:

Hi, Just put a new reset switch in everything came up fine, but when the reels spin and I hit the the stop buttons the middle and right button the reels stop, the left keeps spinning until the board stops its. The buttons are blue until you hit them then they go red but the left one stays blue. I switch around reels and NG. They were working fine a week ago, I did notice that the 3 led lites in the board the middle and right were bright red but the left was very faint. Any help

Might be a dodgy push button. Can you swap 2 of them around

I had John at Stealth Amus send me the entire push button assy, and n/g. The three led lites above the reels two are very bright and the left one very faint. Everything was working perfect, the machine was dirty and I took out the reels to clean them and had to buy a new reset key switch, and now that one reel will not stop spinning, this is pissing me off

Up and running! It was the reel motor control board. How it was explained to me was that when I took off the ribbon strip I must have damaged a pin that cause a lose of power to the board. So be careful when removing any connectors those pins are super sensitive.
