    Question shipping options

So I am currently in Japan and want to send a few pachislo machines to the US. Anybody know the cheapest way about shipping the heavy machines to the US? I eventually will bring my whole collection back to the US and will not have to pay for shipping due to my moving cost are free, but I am trying to help a pachitalk member aquire some desired machines but I want him to get the best deal on shipping. Anyone have any ideas for me? thank you..

Anything over 30kg can not be sent using the post office but by couriers. The last machine I had shipped from Japan to the UK was a pachislo and weighed in at 47kg. I had that sent by FedEx. Cost about ¥26000 shipping. Can't remember the exact price. It's in the From Japan thread in the YJA section.

To the US and even within the US it's usually best to go with FedEx for a shipment that large. If you can have the buyer handle the shipping (schedule pickup, pay for shipping). Then all you're stuck with is purchase and packing. There's really no cheap easy way. Is Fukuoka the closest FedEx station to you?

    FedEx - Find FedEx Locations

The company I work for allows employees to use the corporate account to ship UPS at their rate. I wish they did that with the FedEx account.

Probably be Fedex or UPS for just one or two machines. Otherwise if you have like 20 or something then you should think about getting a shipping container.

    100 machines and counting...
